As a fundamental step in this direction, the company is very pleased to announce that Eduardo Terrassi has joined the SIPLACE team in the Americas region as the new Country Manager for Brazil. In addition to that SIPLACE has also added the representative company EASY to offer support in the strong SMT region Manaus and the state of Amazonas.

Eduardo Terrassi is actually re-joining SIPLACE as the new SIPLACE Country Manager: he worked several years at SIPLACE Brazil before, as an Applications and Service Manager, then left to gather more experience at Tyco Brazil. Both his excellent knowledge of the Brazilian SMT market and his enthusiasm for SIPLACE products, representatives and customers make him an ideal choice for the position.
In addition to that, the SIPLACE team has added EASY as a new representative company for the state of Amazonas. The choice was made in order to increase market presence and customer support in the important SMT market of Manaus, where most of the Brazilian consumer electronics are manufactured. Antonio Chagas, Director of EASY, has a thorough knowledge and many years of experience with SIPLACE products, just as much as an excellent reputation in the Manaus market. For sales at EASY, Mr. Luigi Fernandes will be the SIPLACE team’s primary sales contact. His strong technical background makes him all the more valuable as SIPLACE sets out to strengthen its presence in Manaus.
Altrade will continue as SIPLACE’s primary representative for Brazil excluding Manaus. Both Altrade and EASY will naturally be directly supported by Eduardo Terrassi.
