SIPLACE MultiStar uses a motor that's integrated into the head frame to drive the star axis and control each nozzle independently via direct motors. Additionally a camera system and a component sensor are integrated.

With its revolutionary concept, the SIPLACE MultiStar is the world’s first placement head that combines different placement modes in a single unit. You no longer have to change your placement heads or configurations, but let the head select the appropriate placement mode automatically during production. The same SIPLACE MultiStar that only moments ago placed small and medium-sized components in Collect & Place or Mixed mode quickly turns your station into a flexible and powerful end-of-line machine for the next product. The SIPLACE MultiStar is able to handle components ranging from 01005 to 50 x 40 mm.
