The topic of German Engineering was one of the SIPLACE focus topics at this year’s Nepcon in Shanghai. As a German company under the roof of an Asian one, the SIPLACE combines the advantages of German engineering and production facilities with the efficient and fast workings and the strong Asian market presence of ASMPT. "German Engineering and Asian Efficiency" at its best describes what SIPLACE stands for.
However, SIPLACE was not the only company that took a closer look at what German engineering means to the Asian market at the 2012 Nepcon. Phil Stoten from EMSNow has gathered a roundtable, featuring Viscom CEO Volker Pape, ERSA CEO Bernd Schencker and SIPLACE's own Günter Lauber to talk about German companies’ advantages and disadvantages in the Asian market.
