“Mr. Keckstein, we repeatedly hear from our customers that processing modules with high component densities is pretty complex. What can the SIPLACE team do to make this process easier?”

“Let me give you an example: We have here a complex electronics module with tall components located directly adjacent to low ones. We also have a high component density, and finally we have to place a shield at the end. For this PCB we would like to generate an intelligent and robust placement sequence that avoids collisions and places components in a logical order.”

With the SIPLACE Precedence Finder, determining the safest and most efficient placement sequence is easy. The software recognizes any “shadowing” of large components and interdependencies in the placement sequence (shields, PoPs, etc.). It warns the programmer and proposes changes. It even takes the geometries of special nozzles into account.
